The visiting Manitowoc Lutheran girls basketball team forced 17 steals and limited Chilton to nine second-half point en route to the 37-31 win.

Lutheran trailed 22-19 at halftime but led 33-26 heading into the fourth and held on late.

Arianna Neumeyer led the Lancers with 13 points while teammates MacKayla Menges added 10. Lutheran, while only making one 3-pointer, was efficient from the free-throw line going 8-for-11.

Lutheran hosts St. Mary Central on Monday.

Brillion 46, Valders 42

Danelle Buck’s 24 points weren’t enough for the visiting Vikings, who led 14-2 after the first quarter before the Lions roared back.

Valders held a 20-12 advantage at halftime but were outscored 34-22 in the second half by Brillion. The difference in the game proved to be in the fourth, when the Lions mustered a 18-14 edge after being level entering the final frame.

The Vikings will visit Howards Grove on Monday.
