Borden used its free throws to defeat Silver Creek, 59-49, in a high school girls’ basketball game on Thursday night.
The Braves (9-1) converted on 13 of 15 free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Dragons (3-10).
Natalie Ruedinger led all scorers with 20 points for Borden. Carson Casey had 15 and Abby Ellis 10 for Borden. Alexis Barnett scored 19 points for Silver Creek, and Kelsi Scott had 15.
