A strong defensive performance led Rumson-Fair Haven to a 41-36 win over Manasquan in a big Shore Conference Class A Central game on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (3-3) held the Warriors (5-2) to just 17 total points in the second half, giving them an important road divisional victory.
Stephanie Lesko had a big day for the Bulldogs, scoring 14 of her team-high 21 points in the first half. Grace Stant finished with eight points for the Bulldogs and converted two big foul shots in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.
Sam Sullivan finished with a team-high 15 points for the Warriors, who have dropped their second divisional game after winning the WOBM Tournament just a few weeks ago.

RED BANK CATHOLIC 44, RARITAN 32: Alex Barazotti scored a team-high 10 points leading the Caseys (6-1, 2-0) over the Rockets (1-2, 1-1) in a Class A Central game. Josie Larkins also scored nine points for the Caseys.
Katie Sire finished with a team-high 19 points for the Rockets.
CENTRAL 47, POINT BORO 33: Brianne Allender finished with a team-high 14 points and nine rebounds leading the Golden Eagles (4-3, 2-0) to a Class B South victory over the Panthers for the first time since 2005.
Freshman guard Ashley Dellapietro scored seven of her 13 points in the second half for the Golden Eagles. Brielle Barber scored 11 of her team-high 14 points for the Panthers in the second half.
MANCHESTER 55, JACKSON LIBERTY 26: Manchester sophomore Anissa Fucci recorded a triple-double by equaling her 15 points with 15 steals and grabbing 12 rebounds as the Hawks flew past the Lions in a Class B South game.
Manchester’s Ravanne Wolff followed up with 11 points while teammate Lyric Green added 10 to the winning effort.
Jackson Liberty’s Haley Kopf led all Lions scorers with 10 points.
SOUTHERN 51, TR NORTH 43: Victoria Caiazzo scored eight of her team-high 20 points in the fourth quarter leading the Rams over the Mariners in a Class A South game. Allison Spaschak and Gabby Davis both added nine points for the Rams.
Chrissy Ribaudo finished with a team high 14 points for the Mariners.
WALL 52, PINELANDS 25: Ellen Dougherty finished with a team-high 20 points leading the Crimson Knights (5-2) over the Wildcats (2-3) in a nondivisional game. Samantha and Sydney Darby each added eight points for the Crimson Knights.
RED BANK 40, FREEHOLD 38: Red Bank carried a 23-13 lead into the half of this Class B North game and held off Freehold’s second-half comeback bid on the back of Jazz Van Loon’s game-high 13 points.
