Sturgeon Bay 2, Valders 1

The host Vikings and Clippers appeared headed to overtime before a late Sturgeon Bay goal with a minute left handed Valders the lost.

The Clippers got on the board first in the 63rd minute only to be answered two minutes later by the Vikings Alyssa Christianson assisted by Amanda Miller.

“This was a match you felt really good that you played a top team so close but also really hurts that you gave up a late goal to lose,” said Valders coach Brian Brandl.
