Goshen 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher Jesse Peters and former Moeller standout outfielder/second baseman Ty Amann signed with the NKU baseball program, the collegiate program announced.

From NKU:

Amann is a 5-foot-9 outfielder and second baseman from Cincinnati, Ohio. Amann is a 2012 graduate of Moeller High School, where he was named the Greater Catholic League South Co-Athlete of the Year after helping lead the Crusaders to the 2012 Division I State Championship. As a senior, he recorded a .376 batting average with eight doubles and eight triples, which set the single-season school record. He scored 20 times, drove in 18 runs and stole eight bases in 2012. In addition to earning the top conference honor, Amann also received first-team All-GCL accolades his final two seasons, and he earned first-team all-state honors during his high school career. He will spend the 2015 season at Sinclair Community College after a medical redshirt last season.

Peters is a 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher from Loveland, Ohio. In the spring, Peters will graduate from Goshen (Ohio) High School. As a junior, he recorded a 1.25 ERA over 28 innings of work and collected 45 strikeouts. He posted a 3-1 record on the mound during the 2014 season as well. At the plate, Peters hit .333 with 14 runs scored, nine RBIs and five doubles. He earned first-team All-Fort Ancient Valley Conference honors as a sophomore and received a spot on the all-city first team last season.
