GRAND LEDGE
In November, the Grand Ledge gymnastics team was selected as one of multiple winners of a $1,000 grant from the Chocolate Milk, Nature’s Sports Drink Campaign by the United Dairy Council of Michigan.
The girls participated in a “Got Milk?” photo shoot and are among the finalists to have their picture featured in related advertising.
The team also will be giving away T-shirts and other “Got Milk?” items at 2014 home meets as part of the campaign.
After starting the season at the East Lansing Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 4, their first home meet is on Monday, Jan. 6 in the Grand Ledge High School main gym at 6:30 p.m. against St. Johns.
Please come out and support the six-time State Champs. Congratulations to the gymnastics team on being selected to receive this grant and best of luck this season.
