Grandview Football beats Fountain-Fort Carson to play Valor Christian

KUSA – The 1st ranked Grandview Wolves took on the 3rd ranked Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The Trojans struck first with around a 90-yard touchdown to put them up 7-0 midway through the 1st quarter.

Grandview’s star running back Chuk Obinnah is injured early in the game and didn’t see another snap against the Trojans. Grandview bounces back after injury and Cody Summers gets a pass to Morgan Smith to tie game 7-7 in 1st quarter. Later Ben Marshall runs in another touchdown to make the score 14-7 at half.

Grandview holds the Trojans to a single touchdown and scores two more times to win the game 28-7. The Wolves will play 2nd ranked power house Valor Christian in the semifinal 5A state playoff game.
