Fremont Ross’s Ethan Hetrick (145 pounds) had four pins and was recognized tournament MVP at the Hopewell-Loudon wrestling duals.
The Little Giants fell to Copley 35-32 in the finals. Ross topped Cloverleaf 60-9, Indian Lake 49-21, Zane Trace 61-12 and Napoleon 48-33.
Lamonte Chapman (113) earned two pins and a technical fall, Trayvion Scott (120) had two major decisions and a pin, and Rico Ruente (132) had three decisions, one major decision and a pin for the Little Giants. Jordan Weissinger (152) had three pins and a decision, Garrett Barth (160) had two pins and a decision, and Ivan Franks (170) had three pins and a major decision.
Evan Franks (138) had a pin and decision, Dylan Witt (182) and Daniel McAfee (126) each had two pins, and Kieler Foster (195) had three pins for Ross. Shawn Newsome (220) and Austin Moyer (285) each had one pin.
