Zack Goodwin had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead South Central to a 48-43 victory over Evansville Day in high school boys’ basketball on Saturday.
South Central (5-15) outscored the Eagles 17-10 in the second quarter after taking a 6-5 lead in the first. But Evansville Day came back with 15 points in the third quarter to tie the score 30-all entering the fourth.
Will Stevens had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Derek Hammelman scored 16 for Evansville Day (6-11).
