Eighth-grader Bree Mishler hit one of two free throws to give the Bruins (14-1) a three-point lead, and the host Bearettes’ Fontasia Jeffries missed a shot in the closing seconds.
Danielle Lawrence scored 22 points for Butler, which lost for just the second time this season in 14 games.
