Orleans pinned the second consecutive loss on Borden, the defending Class A state champion, shutting down the Braves 50-32 Friday night in boys’ high school basketball.
The Bulldogs (10-4) limited host Borden to 18 points through the first three quarters as they built a 14-point lead. They were a perfect 22 for 22 at the free-throw line.
Steven Phillips scored 18 points and Cale Hall 11 points for Orleans.
Garrett Vick scored 17 points for the Braves (10-3).
