South Oldham hit 13 3-pointers to overcome a big performance by Woodford County’s Eli Boggess and prevail 74-71 in boys’ basketball Thursday night.
Zack McWilliams had four 3-pointers and 18 points to lead the host Dragons (18-3). Drew Greenwood added 16 points and Michael Griffin 14.
Boggess scored 32 points, including four threes, for the Yellowjackets (14-14).
South Oldham will play Trimble County on Tuesday in the first round of the 29th District Tournament at North Oldham.
