Sacred Heart coach Donna Moir picked up her 500th career win in a 61-14 victory over Seneca (1-8) Wednesday night.
“I was surprised to see so many former player last night, and it was just a great night,” said Moir, who has spent 23 seasons as coach of the Valkyries (8-3).
She is the 12th girls coach in KHSAA to reach 500 wins, and only the second woman.
Valkries senior Raven Merriweather led all scorers with 19 points.
The Eagles (4-7) threw the ball the length of the court with three seconds left, and Erin Dolan hit a layup as time expired for the win over the Titans (3-7).
