CHARLOTTE — Jared McDaniels game-high 16 points led Eaton Rapids to a CAAC Gold victory. McDaniel was one of four players in double figures for the Greyhounds (5-2 overall, 2-1 CAAC Gold), who blew the game open with a 15-2 run that closed out the third quarter and gave them a comfortable 46-29 lead going into the fourth. Sam Masteller had 13 points and Sheldon Holmes and Andrew Wright had 11 each for Eaton Rapids. Matthew Donley led the Orioles (3-1, 1-1) with 13 points, nine of them in the fourth, in which Charlotte closed the gap to single digits, 53-45 with 2:45 left, but could get no closer.
