C.J. Krowiak scored 31 points and set the Union-Endicott school record for points in a 76-62 victory over visiting Horseheads on Monday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference boys basketball game.
Krowiak now has 1,140 in his career, passing Sean Kerins, who had 1,120 points with the Tigers from 1978-80. Kerins went on to play collegiately for Syracuse University.
Krowiak tied the record with a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer, giving Union-Endicott a 38-21 lead at the break, and set the record on his first of two free throw makes midway through the third quarter.
Osama Barwari added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers, who outscored the Blue Raiders 25-6 in the second quarter.
Windsor 48, Chenango Forks 43: At Windsor, Nate Wrighter had eight of his 12 points in the final quarter and the Black Knights survived as a late 3-pointer that would have tied the game was off the mark for Chenango Forks.
Wrighter added eight rebounds and four blocks, and Frank Martino scored 10 points for Windsor. LJ Watson scored 16 for Chenango Forks.
Owego 71, Unatego 52: At Owego, the Indians took a 37-30 lead at halftime and then limited the visitors to 11 points in each of the final two quarters, while putting four players in double figures.
Will Gladney led Owego with 17 points and Brandon Hathaway finished with 15 points., while Zane Paradies added 13 and Zach Thomas scored 10.
