Adam Shumaker added 11 points for the Spartans (2-10), who where up by nine points early in the fourth quarter and held on from there.
Trevor Martin scored 16 points and Brett Copes added 12 for the Cardinals (4-8).
Marathon 58, Union Springs 29: At Marathon, Dan Lincoln’s five steals propelled a hard-pressing Olympians squad to the IAC victory.
Zach Brandstat scored 15 points and Tyler Hoellerer added 12 to lead Marathon (7-4, 6-2), which held Union Spring to below double digits in each quarter.
Newfield 79, Odessa-Montour 24: At Odessa-Montour, the Indians were outscored 41-15 at the half and held to nine second-half points in an IAC loss.
Joel Kelley paced O-M (3-8) with eight points.
Dekhari Stewart led Newfield (10-1) with 15 points.
Union-Endicott 35, Ithaca 28: At U-E, Nicole Kaczmarczyk led all scorers with 13 points for the Tigers. Morgan Talley grabbed 11 rebounds and Alexis Eastman 10 for U-E (6-5).
Newark Valley 59, Edison 38: At Newark Valley, Michelle Woychak scored 17 points for Edison in IAC play.
Katelyn Warren added 14 points for the Spartans, who outscored Newark Valley 13-10 in the fourth quarter.
Newfield 52, Odessa-Montour 25: At Newfield, The Indians were shutout in the first quarter, 14-0, on their way to an IAC loss. Gillian Clark led Odessa-Montour (4-8) with 11 points. Mariah Crawford led Newfield (8-3) with 18.
Spencer-Van Etten 38, Tioga 35: At Spencer, Erinn Catlin scored 10 points in the Panthers IAC victory.
