Billy Sasso’s three goals and four assists led the Freehold Township boys lacrosse team past Wall, 10-5, Saturday in Shore Conference Class A North.
Stephen O’Brien added three goals and two ground balls for the unranked Patriots (4-3, 2-1). Kyle McDonough paced the No. 7 Crimson Knights (7-2, 5-1) with three goals and one assist. He added one ground ball.
Freehold Township sped to a 4-2 first-half lead, scoring three goals in the opening quarter. The Patriots took a 5-2 lead into the final quarter before erupting for five goals.
TR EAST 10, BRICK MEM. 9: Sophomore attack Cody Joffe totaled four goals and one assist to lead the Raiders past the Mustangs in Class A South. Senior midfielder Matt Gudzak added four goals. Senior midfielder-attack Christian McGratty led the Mustangs with three goals.
RED BANK 9, OCEAN 7: Paced by George Zackman’s three goals and one assist, the No. 8 host Bucs (8-2, 5-0) defeated the Spartans (2-5, 1-4) in Class A North. Karl Hottmann added three goals. Christian Goslin’s three goals led the Spartans.
HOWELL 13, MARLBORO 7: Junior midfielder Zack Ornstein’s five goals and two assists paced the Rebels to a Class A North win over the Mustangs.
Junior attack Mark Buannic added three goals and three assists. Junior attack Jake Sherman contributed three goals and one assist.
SOUTHERN 19, BRICK 5: Powered by junior attack Brendan Mullen’s five goals and five assists, the Rams (6-1, 5-0) defeated the Green Dragons (4-4) in Class A South. Junior attack Dylan Jinks added five goals and three assists.
LACEY 14, JACKSON LIBERTY 5: Senior John Long had six goals and three assists and senior Ronald Stawinski had three goals and one assist as the Lions (9-1, 6-0) defeated Jackson Liberty (3-5, 1-4) in a Class A South game.
Senior Dan Cannon added two goals and three assists and senior Kyle Fischer made five saves. Jackson Liberty junior Anthony Ferullo had three goals and one assist and sophomore Christopher Mulholland had 14 saves.
STEINERT 8, MIDDLETOWN NORTH 7: Junior attack Justin Russo had three goals and one assist and sophomore attackman Bryan Flannigan had two goals as the Lions (2-7) fell to the Spartans (6-2) in a nonconference game.
EDISON 9, MIDDLETOWN SOUTH 7: Evan Lepkoski had five goals and Alex Madden had one goal and one assist as Middletown South (3-6) fell to Edison (2-6) in a nonconference game.

TR NORTH 13, BRICK MEM. 5: Shannon Groddie’s three goals propelled the Mariners (6-2) past the Mustangs in Class A South. Netting two goals each for the Mariners were Madison Hughes, Meghan Kazanowsky and Makenzie Putman. Hughes added one assist.
