The Union-Endicott girls lacrosse team fought through two overtime periods before beating host Johnson City 11-10 on Friday in a Section 4 Conference match.
Sarah Espe tied the game for JC with less than two minutes left in the game to set up the first overtime period.
U-E’s Paige Dolphin tied the game at 10 to send it to a second overtime, and Kayla Prosinski registered the winning goal for U-E.
Chenango Forks 14, Elmira 1: At Chenango Forks, the Blue Devils controlled shots, ground balls, and draws to overwhelm the Express. Tory Doll scored a hat trick for the Blue Devils while teammates Sierra Torillo, Hanna Layton, and Vanessa Mirch each added two goals.
Corning 9, Horseheads 8: At Corning, the Blue Raiders entered the second half with a one-goal deficit, but couldn’t gain ground as Taylor Mathis and Neena Merola tallied hat tricks and Taylor Turner registered two goals for the Hawks.
Owego 10, Seton Catholic Central 7: At Owego, Caitlin Watson tallied three goals, and Jena Harris, Emily Merrill each recorded two in the Indians’ win. Andrea Zlinsky added a goal and four assists for Owego, which tallied eight second-half goals to the Saints’ two.
Meaghan O’Brien registered three goals and two assists for SCC.
Maine-Endwell 11, Binghamton 8: At Binghamton, Chelsea Cable scored six goals to lead the Spartans. Dani Cronk registered a pair of goals and an assist, and Hannah George made 11 saves for M-E.
Lauren McPeek scored four goals and Molly Martinichio netted two for the Patriots.
Dryden 3, Trumansburg 0: At T-Burg, John Whitmore pitched a two-hit shutout, and Derek Wilson went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Dryden (3-0) in Interscholastic Athletic Conference play.
