Four Corning bowlers rolled 600 series’ in a 5-0 victory over Vestal Monday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference boys match at Midway lanes in Vestal.
Anthony Evans led Corning with a 699 series, Donovan Antireed added a 669 series, Ben Hall a 683 and Derik Lisi a 601. Antireed had a match-high 269 game. Dakota Glosser added games of 216 and 213 for the Hawks, which won with a 3,262 to 2,862 pinfall.
Elmira 4, Maine-Endwell 1: At Ideal Bowling Center in Endicott, Devon Gunderson rolled a 673 series to lead the Express to a STAC win.
Horseheads 3, Union-Endicott 2: At Rossi Lanes, Ryan Clement rolled a 617 series that included a match-high 268 game to lead the Blue Raiders to a STAC win. Horseheads held a slim, 2,957 to 2,941, pinfall advantage.
Thomas A. Edison 4, Elmira Notre Dame 0: At Rossi Lanes in Elmira, Zach Braster rolled a game-high 744 series that included a 279 game in an IAC win for the Spartans. Alex Sherman led the Crusaders with a 704.
Corning 4, Vestal 1: At Midway Lanes, Kiana Lisi rolled a 612 series with a team-high 228 game to lead the Hawks to a STAC win.
Union-Endicott 4, Horseheads 1: At Rossi Lanes, Steph Sawyer had a 637 series in a STAC loss.
Thomas A. Edison 2, Elmira Notre Dame 2: At Rossi Lanes, Kirstin Rozell rolled a 609 series with a high game of 264 to lead the Spartans to a draw. Abigail Fell Dewalt led the Crusaders with a 515 series. Edison edged Notre Dame in pinfall, 2,133 to 2,129.
