Listen to Coach Wells discuss team's goals, leaders
This year’s Brush High School varsity football team returns 21 varsity letterwinners from the 2013 squad that posted a 7-4 overall record and a 5-0 mark in Northeast Ohio Conference Lake Division play.
The Arcs have been crowned conference champions in three consecutive seasons. Brush’s playoff appearance last season marked just the second time the program has qualified for the postseason.
Third-year head coach Josh Wells took time earlier this preseason to answer questions about his team and its upcoming season for WKYC’s USATODAYhss.com/Cleveland Web site. Listen to his phone conversation with WKYC’s Vincent Dorsey by using the embedded audio player.
Brush named its 2014 captains on Wednesday.
Congratulations to the 2014 Brush football captains Laquan White, Carl Wheeler, Jordan Overton and Matthew Draper!!
