Indiana high school roundup: Jenkins' shot in OT wins it for Cougars

Chandler Jenkins’ 15-foot jumper from the elbow bounced on the side of the rim and dropped through as the overtime period expired to give North Harrison a 67-65 victory over Lanesville in boys’ high school basketball Friday night.

Jenkins wound up with the ball for the Cougars (6-6) courtesy of a deflected pass off a Lanes­ville player, setting up the winning shot.

Austin Nolot led North Harrison with 20 points, including nine of the visitors’ 16 points in the fourth quarter. Cory Smith contributed 18 points for the Cougars, who have won four games in a row.

Jack Ferree led Lanesville (8-6) with 21 points.

Ten Pioneers scored, with Grant Goad and Brad Koerner leading the way with 11 points each as Providence (8-3) whipped the visiting Hornets (2-10). Elijah Weeks led Henryville with 15 points.* Providence 58, Henryville 34:
