Trevon Bluiett scored 32 points and James Blackmon Jr. added 23 points to help the Indiana boys All-Star team beat Kentucky’s All-Stars 111-99 on Saturday night.
Indiana ran its win streak to 13 in the annual summer doubleheader series after winning Friday’s game 104-94.
Bluiett, who will play next year at Xavier, scored 26 of his 32 points in the second half to help Indiana pull away in the contest.
Blackmon, Jr, an Indiana University recruit, had 41 points in Friday night’s win. Indiana played both games against Kentucky this year without Indiana Mr. Basketball and University of Kentucky commit Trey Lyles.
Kentucky was led by University of Louisville recruit Quentin Snider, who scored 27 points. Kelan Martin added 15 for Kentucky and Justin Johnson had 10 points.
Jennings, Buck lead girls
Indiana Miss Basketball Whitney Jennings and Sydney Buck each scored 14 points and the Indiana girls’ all-star basketball team completed a sweep of the annual summer series with Kentucky on Saturday with an 83-56 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
A night after winning 83-70 in Lexington, Indiana took control early. Indiana forced 16 first-half turnovers and used a pressuring perimeter defense to keep Kentucky from finding an offensive rhythm.
After falling behind 43-28 at halftime, Kentucky used a full-court press to begin the second half. But that allowed Indiana to score in transition and get easy baskets.
Ivy Brown, Kentucky’s Miss Basketball, scored 11 points, and Eriel McKee had nine.
