Jared’s thoughts

“We have a great core group of guys this year, but everyone on the team makes contributions either in practices or games. The one thing we need to work on is playing a complete game and not losing focus, which hurts us at times. If we can fix that, we’ll be a solid team down the stretch. Individually, I’m really happy with how the season is going, but my teammates play a big part of that. It’s guys getting me open, pushing me harder in practice, and making it fun to play. Improvement I would like to see as the season goes along are limiting my turnovers, making smarter plays and knocking down more open shots.”

Coach Tim Lindloff’s thoughts

“Jared’s having a fantastic season. He leads the team in steals, scoring, assists. He handles pressure and sets up our offense, he’s the main cog in our team. He’s played a little over two years on varsity, he’s done a good job for us. Last year, the kids looked to him and he’s come through. He makes me laugh and that’s what I love about him, he makes me laugh. He’s got a great sense of humor, he’s so talented and his sense of humor and mine match, for better or worse.”
