Stephenville (Stephenville, Texas) quarterback Jarrett Stidham took to Twitter Saturday night to announce his decommitment from Texas Tech.

Stidham, a five-star prospect, is ranked No. 4 among quarterbacks in the Rivals 100.

He signed a financial aide agreement with the Red Raiders in August and had plans to enroll early.

Stidham picked Texas Tech over Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and TCU on March 7.

According to 247Sports, Baylor could be in position to land him. He was on the campus in Waco last Saturday for the game against Kansas State and had an in-home visit from Baylor coaches Wednesday.

This season he threw for 35 touchdowns and ran for 16 more despite missing three weeks after undergoing surgery on a broken bone on his throwing hand.
