Favorite sports memory: During a softball game last spring, the bases were loaded and there were no outs. I was playing second base, and the ball was hit in a line drive right at me. I caught the ball, tagged second base, and threw it to first. It was a triple play!

Advice to an athlete: Give it everything you have. Put in the extra hours, work hard at every practice, and know your dreams are attainable. Win with modesty and lose with dignity. Enjoy every moment; it’s done before you know it.

Inspiration: When I was in 6th grade, I was invited to play on a co-ed club volleyball team. That same coach from my 6th grade club team was my freshman year varsity coach. Mr. Lilly not only taught me how to play, but also how to love the sport.

College plans: I will be attending Carroll University next fall to study exercise physiology, and I eventually hope to earn my doctorate in physical therapy.
