Josh Vollstedt scored 20 points, 13 of them in the second quarter, to help lift Borden past Salem 45-42 Friday night in high school boys’ basketball.
Coach Doc Nash of Borden (16-4) said it was a hard-fought game and the win means a lot to his seniors playing their final home game.
Seth Hobson led Salem (2-17) with eight points.
