Multiple high-level basketball prospects, including University of Kentucky signees Trey Lyles and Tyler Ulis, will be participating in the three-day, 17-game Mustang Madness high school showcase that begins Thursday at McCracken County High School in Paducah, Ky.

Lyles, a five-star power forward from Indianapolis Arsenal Tech, and Ulis, a four-star point guard from Marian Catholic in Chicago Heights, Ill., both will have games on Saturday night, but national prospects with recruiting ties to local colleges will play all three days. The first-year event is similar to the annual Marshall County Hoopfest in nearby Benton.

All-session passes (four in all, including two on Saturday) are $45 for the lower arena.

Lyles will play in one of the most anticipated games of the weekend when Tech faces Cleveland’s Villa Angela St. Joseph at 8:30 p.m. EST Saturday. St. Joseph features five-star junior power forward Carlton Bragg, who is a target of UK, Louisville and Indiana.

Refer to the accompanying schedule for a list of key recruits in each game.

Evangelical Christian of Cordova, Tenn., will meet Quality Education Academy of North Carolina at 5:30 Saturday, but five-star junior center/UK target Skal Labissiere is injured and isn’t expected to play — or even make the trip — for Evangelical.

There will be a Fan Jam autograph session with players at 10 a.m. Saturday at McCracken County’s Orthopedic Institute Indoor Practice Facility on campus. Admission to that is $5.
