Flyway quad: Led by seven first-place finishes, the Laconia girls team finished in a tie for first place with Omro in a quadrangular held at North Fond du Lac.

The Spartans finished with 91 points, while North Fondy was third with 51. On the boys side, Laconia finished second to Omro with 86.5 points while North Fondy was third with 30.5.

Chanel Becker and Hailey Isaac had two first-place finishes for the Spartans, with Becker taking the shot put (30 feet, four and a half inches) and discus (112-11) while Isaac took the 1600 (5:31.83) and 3200 (12:30.11).

Laconia took the 3200, 1600 and 800 relay while finishing runner up in the 400.

North Fondy got first place finishes out of Deanna Luttenberger in the 100 (14.43) and Rebecca Stenz in the 800 (3:06.58).

On the boys’ side, Laconia got first place finishes out of John Tilstra in the 400 (58.52), Justin Johnson in the 1600 (4:48.16), Alec Potter in the 3200 (10:51.89) and Tyler Zickert in the shot put (44-03.50).

North Fondy was led by Tylar Kohnke’s first place finish in the discus (122-05).
