BROOMFIELD – The Legacy Lighting hosted the Rocky Mountain Lobos in their first conference game with the Lighting pulling off a 1-0 victory.

In a pitching duel, Legacy senior Lucas Gilbreath was the victor with 12 strikeouts while allowing only six hits in seven innings pitched. Lobos senior Tyler Stevens pitched six innings striking out six while only giving up two hits.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jordan Luthi drove a double into deep right field. An error on the next play would lead to him scoring the game winning run for the Lighting.

Legacy improves to 4-3 on the season while the Lobos drop to 3-4.
