For the second-straight year, the Liberty Common girls soccer team received first-team all-academic designation from the Colorado High School Activities Association.
CHSAA sends certificates to teams based on team-submitted, cumulative GPA. The first-team designation requires a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher. The Liberty Common girls soccer team had a cumulative GPA of 3.71. CHSAA also designates an honorable mention all-academic team for teams with a cumulative GPA from 3.3-3.59.
The Eagles went 10-5-1 this past season, and also had two players selected as first-team all-conference for the Class 3A Region 7 girls soccer league. Liz Yeh (19 goals, 11 assists) and Olivia Bachelet (20, 7) received that honor. Sarah Schaffer was given the honorable mention designation after her 16-goal, 7-assist season.
