Lincoln emerged as the Class AA girls soccer champions Saturday with a victory against O’Gorman.
The Patriots completed their season with a title in Mitchell through a 3-1 win against the Knights.
Julie Teslow began the scoring for Lincoln by scoring the game’s only first-half goal. Teslow later added a goal to give the Patriots a 2-0 lead en route to wining player of the match.
After O’Gorman answered with a penalty kick by Alyssa Weidler, the Patriots put the game on ice through a goal by Madison Landon. Brittany Forsman had the assist on the goal.
Teslow’s goal was the only blemish on a great outing by goalie Maggie Smither and the Lincoln defense.
