Notre Dame 74, Marathon 52

Top-seeded Elmira Notre Dame cruised into the Class C boys semifinals with a 74-52 win over ninth-seeded Marathon in Southport.

Jonas McCaig had 19 points for Notre Dame, which outscored Marathon 23-5 in the third quarter after leading 38-36 at the half.

The Crusaders host Watkins Glen in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Watkins Glen 38, Lansing 27

Keith Rekczis scored 16 points to lead fourth-seeded Watkins Glen to a 38-27 victory over fifth-seeded Lansing in a Section 4 Class C boys quarterfinal Friday in Watkins Glen. The Senecas (14-5) play at top-seeded Elmira Notre Dame on Tuesday. Lansing finished 13-6.
