Arlington Track Club’s Zola Golden will run today for two national indoor titles at the New Balance Nationals being held at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York.
Golden sprinted to the fastest heat time in the 400-meter dash, 54.17 seconds, on Saturday. She also clocked the second-fastest preliminary heat time of 23.95 in the 200.
Also on Saturday, Arlington’s Trenten Beram qualified for today’s boys 200-meter final with his fourth-place preliminary heat time of 21.55. He was 12th overall in the boys 60 (6.94) to advance to the semifinals.
The Arlington boys 3,200 relay of Steve Morrison, Tym Lotocky, Tom Wimmers and James Asselmeyer finished 15th in 7:57.21.
Late Friday, Marlboro’s Courtney Warden placed third in her heat and 29th overall in the girls emerging elite 60-meter hurdles (9.23). Roy C. Ketcham’s Leah Wachsmuth was 35th in the girls emerging elite pole vault (10 feet, 1.25 inches).
Bard swept a doubleheader from D’Youville in Farmingdale, winning the opener 11-1 and the second game 8-2.
JP Fisher had three hits, three runs scored and one RBI in the opener for the Raptors.
In the second game, Quinn McInerney led Bard with two hits, four RBI and a run scored. Dylan Long added two hits and two RBI.
Amherst 3, Vassar 0 — Brett Zaziski had three singles for Vassar at the Central Florida Invitational.
Marist split a doubleheader against Bethune Cookman, winning the opener 7-3 and losing game two 8-3.
Taylor Kuzma had three hits, scored two runs and drove in one for the Red Foxes in the opener. Kyrsten Van Natta, Aly Klemmer, Jenna Korak and Jordynn Barrera each had two hits.
In the second game, Klemmer had three hits, two RBI and one run scored for Marist.
New Paltz swept — New Paltz lost both games at the Salisbury Tournament, losing 12-8 to Capital and 12-2 to Salisbury.
Kiersten Carlomango had two hits and one RBI for the Hawks against Capital. Erika Traina finished with two hits, two RBI and one run scored vs. Salisbury.
Joseph Radin and Drew Nesmith scored four goals apiece for visiting Marist in a 9-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference loss to Siena.
Mount Saint Mary 4, Centenary 2 — David Hobbs finished with a goal and an assist to pace host Mount Saint Mary.
Sebastian Cina, Sean Nolan and Stephen White each had a goal for the Blue Knights (1-3).
Vassar 23, Western Connecticut State 8 — Noah Parson contributed six goals and three assists for visiting Vassar late Friday. Colin Cederna tallied four goals and five assists.
Lianne Valdivia collected four goals and one assist for visiting New Paltz in a 14-13 victory over Oneonta.
Carissa Citro had three goals and two assists, and Talia Tesler scored three goals for the Hawks.
Vassar 15, Colorado College 8 — Dara Davis and Isabelle Goldstein scored four goals apiece, and Phoebe Tzannes and Julia Trudell each had three goals for visiting Vassar late Friday.
Bard defeated St. Joseph’s College 25-13, 25-15, 25-17 and lost to Brooklyn, 25-16, 25-12, 25-23, in New York.
Alex Adams had nine kills, and Mahir Shelkh tallied 27 assists for Bard vs. St. Joseph’s. Billy Williams recorded 12 kills and Henry Kasiske added 23 assists for the Raptors against Brooklyn.

Amanda Amorosa scored three goals for Marist in a 10-4 triumph over Occidental at the Arizona State Invitational.
Lauren Stauffer, Emily Hallewell, Samantha Schapiro and Lindsay Kantor were all singles winners for visiting Vassar in a 6-3 victory over Chapman.
Alexander Luckmann was a winner at fifth singles for Vassar in a 7-2 loss to host Whittier.
