Megan Burke had a 590 series with a 210 high game as the Arlington High School girls bowling team defeated John Jay 5-2 in Dutchess Putnam Interscholastic Bowling League play at Fishkill Bowl on Wednesday.
Victoria Pacacha led John Jay with a 584 series.
Roy C. Ketcham 7, Carmel 0 — Alexandra Ciulla led the Indians to a DPIBL win at Fishkill Bowl, rolling a 473 series.
Mahopac 7, Beacon 0 — Stefani Dobert bowled a 485 series and had a high game of 181, but the Bulldogs lost in DPIBL play at Fishkill Bowl.
John Jay had four bowlers roll at least 500 games as it defeated Arlington 7-0 in DPIBL play at Fishkill Bowl.
John Jay was led by George Pacacha, who had a 583 series off games of 191, 193 and 199. Other top Patriots were Joe Jurina (560), Michael Gately (551) and Nicholas Pagan (513).
Aaron Scribner led Arlington with a 642 series and a 229 high game.
Beacon 4, Mahopac 3 — Doug Wessels’ 577 series and 196 high game helped the Bulldogs to a DPIBL win.
Kevin Meeker rolled a 518 for Beacon.
Ketcham 5, Carmel 2 — Charlie Ward bowled a 638 series and had a high game of 236 as the Indians won in DPIBL play.
Other top Indians were Andrew Maslosky (575 series), Andrew Nadeau (556), Jon Mann (543) and Eric Bentsen (502).
Seamus Trzewich-Quinn (100 backstroke, 200 freestyle), Emile Kuyl (50 and 100 freestyles), Jackson Beveridge (200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke) and Hudson Carroll (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke) each won two individual events as New Paltz (4-0) defeated Cornwall, 124-59, in Orange County League action.
Late Tuesday, Kuyl, Carroll and Liam O’Donnell each won four events — two individual and two relays — as the host Huguenots defeated Lourdes, 113-57, at SUNY New Paltz.
Individually, Kuyl placed first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.16) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.33). Carroll’s individual wins were in the 100 butterfly (52.43) and 100 backstroke (54.45). Kuyl and Carroll were also part of winning relays in the 200 medley relay (1:42.27) and 200 freestyle relay (1:33.82). O’Donnell placed first in the 50 freestyle (24.00) and 100 freestyle (52.66) and was part of the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay (3:36.62).
For Lourdes, Stephen Kelleher won the 200 freestyle in 1:53.34.
Minisink Valley 116, Marlboro 64 — Michael Craven won the 200 individual medley in 2:26.38 to pace host visiting Marlboro in the Orange County League meet.
Arlington 90, Wappingers 72 — Chris Alpay (200-yard freestyle), Edmond Ma (200 individual medley), Matt Murphy (50 freestyle), David Scholes (100 freestyle) and Daniel Muenkel (500 freestyle) all took first place in an individual event for visiting Arlington at Mount Saint Mary College late Tuesday.
Jarrod Rizzi (100 butterfly), Joseph Zarrella (100 backstroke) and Ashok Vallamattam (100 breaststroke) each won an individual event for Wappingers (3-3).
Liam O’Farrell (113 pounds), Taylor Benson (120), Matt Rauch (126), Aaron Calabrese (132), Kyle Torre (138), Tristen Schafo (145), Darren Coon (195), Ben Zitz (220) and Travis Coon (285) were each winners for host Red Hook, which beat Ellenville 60-21.
New Paltz splits — The Huguenots split in a double-dual meet held in Accord, beating host Rondout Valley, 54-36, and falling to Onteora, 48-39.
Double-winners for New Paltz were Karl Linneman (152 and 145), Mitchell Rigano (182 and 170) and Troy Grant (220)
Lakeland/Walter Panas 64, Our Lady of Lourdes 18 — The visiting Warriors received wins from Ken Rogan (126), Nick Jolly (145), Tyler Estremera (170) and Daniel Ogulnick (182).
Port Jervis 42, Highland 25 — Dom Bellacicco (195), Mike Feliciano (106) and Andrew Suleiman (132) picked up victories for the visiting Huskies.
Wappingers’ Olivia Frederick won the all-around with a score of 35.15 as her Warriors defeated Carmel 164-55-143.2 at Dutchess County Gymnastics in Fishkill.
Frederick scored a 9.55 on floor exercise, an 8.8 on both the vault and balance beam and an 8.0 on the uneven parallel bars. Wappingers (2-1) took the top three in the all-around with Megan Kohl (32.85) and Sabrina Sura (32.65) also placing.
Wappingers hosts Suffern and Carmel at 4 p.m. on Monday.

The Vassar Brewers finished fourth in the Bob Mowerson Swim Meet in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Pawling fell to Brewster, 7-4, at Trinity-Pawling Rink late Tuesday.
The Tigers lost leads of 2-0 and 3-2. Aiden King had a goal and an assist for Pawling (3-2). Cody Adams, Tyler Parker and Taylor Folchetti also scored for Pawling.
Johnny Mrlik had 15 points as the host Vassar College Brewers beat St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn), 69-60, to improve to 8-1 late Tuesday.
Cortland 72, New Paltz 69 — Taylor Sowah had a game-high 18 points, but the host Hawks fell to 4-6 overall and 1-2 in SUNY Athletic Conference play late Tuesday.
Poughquag’s Rachel Perrone had 10 points and 16 rebounds, but the host Mount Saint Mary Blue Knights lost to Sage, 66-64, to fall to 0-10 in their Skyline Conference opener late Tuesday.
