JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Recruiting season is heating up, and several college football coaches are visiting the First Coast this week including LSU’s Les Miles.

Miles stopped by practice at Trinity Christian Academy on Thursday afternoon. Conquerors cornerback Kevin Toliver II, the #6 rated prospect in the entire country according to the ESPN 300, is verbally committed to LSU. Linebacker Jeffery Holland, offensive lineman Kendrick Norton, and safety Ben Edwards are also in the ESPN 300, and all are undecided about their college destinations at this time.

Among the other coaches spotted at Trinity on Thursday were Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster and Utah running backs coach Dennis Erickson (formerly the head coach at the University of Miami and with the Seahawks & 49ers).

First Coast News spoke with Holland and Norton to get their reaction on Jim McElwain becoming the new head football coach at the University of Florida. Watch the video clip above to hear what they have to say about the hire.
