Walled Lake Central 10, Walled Lake Northern 1: Colin Gottschalk pitched a complete game, allowing just five hits for Central. Ben Besh was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI’s. Justin Pawloski was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Northern (9-10).

Girls soccer

Northville 8, South Lyon 0: Megan Buckingham scored two goals and had one assist for Northville (14-0) girls soccer team in a shutout against South Lyon (0-11-2). Jamie Cheslik, Suzie Redick, Jenna Baughman, Jenny Willerer and Kelly McHugh each scored one goal. Cheslik and Redick each had one assist. Emily Maresh and Olivia Ulman defended the Mustangs’ net.

Novi 1, Plymouth Salem 0: Kendall Kramer scored one goal for Novi (11-2-2) girls soccer team in a shutout against Plymouth Salem (3-7-4). Bethany Kopel had five saves and five shots on goal.
