Grosse Pointe South 3, Macomb Twp. L’Anse Creuse North 2: Andrew Eaton pitched all seven innings with three strike outs, allowing two walks and three hits for South (17-16, 6-8 MAC Red). Ryan Liagre went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI and both Will Norris and Justin McMann went 2-for-3. Danny Kerr hit a solo homer and had one walk for North (15-12, 6-9 MAC Red).

Walled Lake Northern 14, Milford 5: Zach Gilbert pitched five innings, giving up six hits and three walks for Northern (13-11). Drake Lubin went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and three runs, Corey Williams went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run, Ryan Snyder went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs and Justin Pawlowski went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs. Zach Semansky went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and one run and Connor Young went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs for Milford (6-19).

Softball

Novi 16-17, Wayne Memorial 1-3: In Game 1, Mallory Daschke pitched all four innings with eight strikeouts for Novi (19-14, 5-10 KLAA Central). Jenna Lowney went 3-for-3 and Casey Lawler had four RBIs. Nancy Smith went 2-for-2 with one RBI for Wayne (0-22, 0-15 KLAA Central). In Game 2, Natalie Torrente pitched three innings with four strikeouts and no hits for Novi. Torrente went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Jenna Lowney went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Mary McCurry had two RBIs for Wayne.

Novi Franklin Road Christian 16, Plymouth Christian Academy 1: Gabriel Rayburn pitched all four innings with six strikeouts, allowing two hits and no walks for Franklin Road Christian (9-5, 5-0 MIAC Red). Katie Larabell went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Tori Schinzing also went 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Rachel Shook pitched all four innings with eight strikeouts for Plymouth Christian Academy.

Girls tennis

Detroit Cass Tech 19, Detroit Renaissance 12, Detroit Detroit King 7: In the Division 1 PSL championship, Cass Tech’s Alayah Martin def. Piper White, 6-0, 6-0. Cass Tech’s Tyra Webb and Nacyla Brandon def. Renaissance’s Randi Jackson and Destane’ Turner, 6-3, 6-0.

Girls soccer

Northville 2, Livonia Churchill 0: Gabby Mencotti scored and Jamie Cheslik had a goal and an assist for Northville. Emily Maresh had three saves for Northville while Brittnay Hayes had 15 saves for Churchill (10-3-1).
