School: Matawan

Year: Freshman

Event: Sprints

Highlights: Anderson finished sixth overall in 400-meter event at the MOC (57.39), after capturing a pair of Group II titles in the 400 (57.51) and 55 (7.14). At the C.J. Group II sectional, Anderson took home the 400 in 58.85, while placing second (7.28) in the 55. Anderson had consecutive 400 victories at the Monmouth County (58.94) and Shore Conference meets (59.37).

CLEOPATRA MORRISON

School: Long Branch

Year: Senior

Event: Sprints

Highlights: Morrison opened her championship season with Monmouth County (7.21) and Shore Conference (7.23) championships in the 55-meter dash events, before capturing the C.J. Group II (7.20) and overall Group II (7.14) crowns. Morrison also finished 11th overall at the Meet Of Champions with a time of 7.32.

DOMONIQUE PANTON

School: Freehold Township

Year: Junior

Event: Sprints

Highlights: Panton opened her season with a second-place finish in the Monmouth County 55 dash (7.39) before placing third in the Shore Conference meet at 7.43. The junior followed with another third-place finish in the C.J. Group IV sectional (7.44) before running a 7.33 at Meet Of Champions..

MARIN WARNER

School: Holmdel

Year: Junior

Event: Distance

Highlights: The All-Shore Girls Winter Track Athlete of the Year placed third in the Meet Of Champions 1,600 with a superb time of 4:54.15, after placing second in the Group II event at 4:55.48. The junior won a pair of C.J. Group II sectional titles in the 800 (2:16.40) and 1,600 (4:55.09) on the back of a Monmouth County 1,600 title at 5:02.40. Warner also finished 12th at the Millrose Games’ mile with a time of 5:00.23, and closed her season at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, where she placed ninth in the mile at 4:55.45.

ADRIAN VITELLO

School: Freehold Township

Year: Senior

Event: Distance

Highlights: Vitello finished second in the 800 at the Meet Of Champions with a time of 2:13.29 after another second-place finish at the Group IV meet (2:15.01). Vitello was victorious in the 800 at the C.J. Group IV sectional (2:14.53) and Shore Conference (2:15.66), but placed second in the event at the Monmouth County meet (2:17.30). Vitello was also part of the Patriots’ 4×800 relay team that earned the national championship at the New Balance Indoor Meet.

CIARA ROCHE

School: Freehold Township

Year: Sophomore

Event: Distance

Highlights: Roche placed fourth overall at the Meet of Champions 3,200 with a time of 10:47.95,after earning consecutive victories at the Group IV (11:03.41) and C.J. Group IV meets (11:04.77). The sophomore also captured a sectional crown in the 1,600 (5:08.38) and a Monmouth County title in the 3,200 at 11:16.33. Roche was also part of the Patriots’ 4×800 relay team that earned a national championship at the New Balance Indoor meet.

TIFANI BYRD

School: Toms River North

Year: Senior

Event: Hurdles

Highlights: Byrd opened her championship season with a second-place finish at the Ocean County meet in the 55 hurdles (8.56) before capturing the Shore Conference crown (8.57). The senior went on to earn the South Group IV crown (8.50) before finishing eighth at the Meet Of Champions with her best time of the season at 8.33.

FALLON QUIGLEY

School: Mater Dei

Year: Senior

Event: High jump

Highlights: Before finishing 10th at the Meet Of Champions (5-02), Quigley won three consecutive high jumping championships at the state and local level. The senior opened with a Monmouth County title after leaping to a height of 5-00, and followed with a jump of 5-02 to win the Shore Conference crown, before earning the Non-Public A Group title at 5-02.

NICOLE MACCO

School: Matawan

Year: Junior

Event: Pole vault

Highlights: The All-Shore Girls Winter Field Athlete of the Year dominated the pole vault event at both the state and local level, earning victories at five consecutive championship meets. Macco recorded an 11-06 to win the Meet Of Champions pole vault title after propelling herself to an 11-10 at the Group II meet, while winning the C.J. Group II sectional at 10-6. Macco preceded her state performances with successive wins at the Shore Conference (11-00) and Monmouth County meets (11-00). However, the junior recorded her personal best mark of 12-00 at the Eastern State Regionals.

MICHELLE MAZZA

School: Ocean

Year: Senior

Event: Shot put

Highlights: Mazza placed second overall at the Meet Of Champions with a throw of 43-08 after recording another second-place showing at the Group III meet (40-11). The senior captured three consecutive championships, including the C.J. Group III sectional (40-09.25), Shore Conference (40-00.75), and Monmouth County meets (40-06).

BRIANNA ANGELLELLA, MELAN HAMMEL, CARLY BURNUP, ELIZABETH CHARTIER

School: Southern

Event: Relay

Highlights: Southern’s 4×400-meter relay team opened with an Ocean County title (4:12.40), before placing second at the Shore Conference (4:07.07) and South Jersey Group IV events (4:03.11). The Southern running collective placed third at the Group IV meet (3:58.80) and sixth at the Meet Of Champions (3:59.15).
