Kolby Melsha had a 474 series to lead the City High boys bowling team at a Class 2A regional meet Tuesday at Pla Mor Lanes in Muscatine, and qualified individually for the state meet.
Melsha, a junior who attends Solon High School, also qualified as a freshman.
The state meet will be held Tuesday at Plaza Lanes in Des Moines.
