Milford wrestling get a new coach in Tim Rebb.
He inherits a pair of state returnees from last year’s team, which finished fifth in the KLAA West and 3-6 overall.
David Joyner and Brandon Krol will look to get back to the state finals again.
Also returning are Tim Nelson, Trevor Bageris, David Joyner and Tyler Lovelace.
Rebb likes what he is seeing from his upperclassmen during early practices.
“The team has strong senior leadership and works hard in the room to get better every day,” he said.
The Mavs are in a loaded division with state powerhouse Hartland, Brighton and Howell in the mix. Hartland won last year’s division and will be the team to beat until someone can knock it off.
The Mavs get the season started Dec. 10 with a home quad. Milford will be busy with three tournaments in December, including the Oakland County meet Dec. 19-20 and a home tourney Dec. 27 during the holiday break.
