Jeanna Brown, Mahopac girls bowling: The junior defended her Section 1 title by shooting 1,288 for the six-game block at Fishkill Bowl.

Emma Daly, Pearl River girls basketball: Daly led the way with 24 points in Pearl River’s 72-53 win at Scarsdale.

Matt Franks, Rye Neck boys basketball: The senior forward had 28 points in the Panthers 77-49 win at Hamilton.

Kevin Sabino, Palisade Prep boys basketball: The senior guard became the first player in program history to score 1,000 points as he had 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Phoenix’s 89-60 win at Biondi.

Isaiah Ward, Palisade Prep boys basketball: The senior guard had 33 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the Phoenix’s 89-60 win at Biondi.

Tuesday’s must-see event

Section 1 boys bowling championships at Fishkill Bowl, 8:30 a.m. The individual title should be up for grabs with defending champ Anthony Maresca of Clarkstown South, last year’s runner-up Dominick Brown of Mahopac, and Al Chamberlain of Suffern, who recently bowled two perfect games in a week, all in the running.
