MOUNT PLEASANT, N.C. — Mount Pleasant boys hoops snapped a five-game skid Wednesday, defeating South Stanly 81-75 behind Thomas Boshear’s career-record 24 rebounds.

The game was tightly contested, with Mount Pleasant rallying in the second half to take a 44-40 lead into the fourth quarter. South Stanly did just enough in the final quarter, stretching the game to overtime.
