KUSA – Ralston Valley’s football star, Andrew Wingard, committed to the University of Wyoming on Oct. 21. Wingard has put up impressive numbers this season. In eight games he has 1014 all-purpose yards and a total of 16 touchdowns for the Mustangs.
The senior has been a major contributor to Ralston Valley’s undefeated 8-0 overall team record this year. The senior actively plays both ways as a running back, defensive back, and kick returner for the Mustangs. Coach Matt Loyd’s willingness to play Wingard at any point in the game shows his trust in the talented team player.
Wingard will display some of the skills he will take to Wyoming on Thursday, Oct. 23 against the Mullen Mustangs at 7pm in NAAC Stadium.
