Ice Time

The Boys Ice hockey team is rolling through their regular season at 4-1 so far 5 games in. They have won by a season margin of 22-9 points, and their only loss has come in a thrilling one point game to Cannon Mac. The team is currently second in their section, only behind Bethel Park, which will lead to a great match on November 24th. The four upcoming games in November are going to be crucial for the team, and their ranking going into the playoffs.

Volleyball WPIALs

The girls volleyball team is storming through the WPIALs, beating any team in their path. Now in the Semifinals, the girls are looking at Mt. Lebanon who in the regular season beat NA, 3-2. This shouldn’t be a problem for the girls, due to the fact that they lost to Shaler in the regular season, 1-3. They defeated the Lady Titans in the WPIAL quarterfinals in thrilling fashion, 3-1 in 4 sets.

Grass Time

The girls field hockey team is in a familiar place, on the top of the WPIAL podium. The girls defeated Pine Richland in the WPIAL finals 4-0, and look to states now for a chance for redemption for last year. Their perfect section record at 10-0, and near perfect overall record at 17-3 took them through the WPIALs with home-field advantage, and helped achieve the greatness that is almost expected by now in the WPIAL field hockey competition. – See more at:
