Host Charlestown fell to New Albany 65-58 Monday night in girls’ high school basketball.
The Bulldogs (7-10) outscored Charlestown 18-6 in the second quarter, building a 32-23 halftime lead.
The leading scorer for the Bulldogs was Brittany Knight with 21 points.
Kaitlynn Henning led the Pirates (10-6) by putting 19 points on the board. Teammate Justice Burdin had 11 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks.
