Athena Eli won the 200 and Ally Bloomer the high jump as Oak Harbor’s girls track team finished second to Perrysburg.
Alexa Weis, Karis DeWalt, Paige Velliquette and Eli took the 4X200 relay.
“It’s really awesome to win in front of your home crowd against the high level of competition that coach (John McKitrick) brings into this meet every year,” Eli said. “Bringing in big points for the team at a big meet like this is an awesome feeling.”
Tyler Sievert won the 800 and 1,600 while Austin Apple took the pole vault as the Rockets’ boys were third.
“I was really happy with winning both of my events,” Sievert said. “It made it even better since it was a home meet. Both of the times I ran were season PRs and it was great to get under 2 minutes in the 800 again. Our team did great and we finished well as a group, even without some of our better athletes.
“This meet is going to set us up really well for our Sandusky Bay Conference meet this weekend. It was a great meet.”
Dan Sprinski won the high jump as Woodmore was sixth.
Morissa Mallory won the shot put while Port Clinton was sixth.
Woodmore’s girls were eighth while the Redskins’ boys were ninth. Eastwood won the boys portion.
