Oak Ridge Trojans beat the Burbank Titans

Oak Ridge played Burbank at home, where the Trojans emerged victorious beating the Titans 45-28.

The Burbank Titans made the first execution, which was a play fake to Junior FB Michael Roots. Instead, Senior QB Harrison Anderson pitched the ball to Eric Brown, who ran into the endzone and put the first score on the board.

However, the Oak Ridge Trojans did not hesitate to quickly retaliate. Their reply occurred when junior QB Ian Book rolled out of the pocket and threw a touchdown pass to Senior TE Ryan Sullivan.

Later, Burbank fumbled their next possession, recovered by Junior Luke Woehler, which gave Oak Ridge possession of the ball. Within a few plays, Book threw to Sullivan again for another touchdown. The score was 14-7 by the end of the first quarter.

Book finished the night with 226 passing yards and three touchdown passes.

Going into week 3, Burbank will play Folsom, and Oak Ridge will face Edward C. Reed of Sparks, NV.
