Allie Jett won the 200 and was part of first-place 4X200, 4X100 and 4X400 relays as Oak Harbor’s girls track team finished first overall.
“The meet went well,” Jett said. “I got an acceptable time running (the 200) into the wind. My team did very well and I’m proud of every one of them for bringing the Rockets the win.”
Tyler Sievert won the 800 and 1,600 and was part of first-place 4X800 and 4X400 relays as Oak Harbor’s boys also finished first.
“Saturday went well,” he said. “We went in with the mindset we were the best team there and there was no reason we shouldn’t win the meet. All of our relays did good and all of them got a PR, which was definitely a positive.
“I got meet MVP, which was definitely a highlight. Our team did great overall and we look to build off our success. I plan to bring my times down each race and I know my teammates do as well. It was a great meet for the Rockets.”
Athena Eli, Paige Velliquette, Sidney St. Clair and Jett won the 4X200 relay while Trinity Gephart, Michaela Wagner, Valley Dunn and Brenda Franck took the 4X800 relay. Rebekah Rayburn, Velliquette, Eli and Jett won the 4X200 relay while Rayburn, St. Clair, Velliquette and Jett took the 4X100 relay.
Gephart won the 3,200.
