Last season, it was a no-brainer; St. Augustine RB Leonard Fournette, who garnered comparisons to a young Adrian Peterson, was not just the top player in the metro New Orleans area—he was the top player in the entire country.

This year, it’s not so simple to pick the best player in the Big Easy. Is it Easton WR Tyron Johnson, who is following in the footsteps of former Curtis wideout Malachi Dupre (now Fournette’s teammate at LSU) as one of the top receiver recruits in the country? Is it Riverdale’s Donte Jackson, who is an electric return man and all-purpose athlete? What about Newman QB Jabiari “Jay” Tyler—who has broken a number of Peyton Manning’s Greenie passing records—or his teammate Kendall Bussey, a fast, strong tailback who is committed to Nebraska?

Or is it someone else altogether? Let us know by voting in the poll below and expressing your thoughts in the comment section.
