Manitowoc Lutheran’s Jared Muench threw a complete-game gem to stifle visiting Roncalli and help the Lancers past the Jets on Wednesday 4-1 in Olympian Conference action.

Muench scattered five hits over seven innings while allowing one run with two strikeouts and no walks.

Seth Hillmer went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored while teammate Kyle Staudt (2-for-3) also had a pair of hits and an RBI to pace Lutheran’s offense.

Taking the loss for Roncalli was John Roberts, who allowed four runs — all earned — on eight hits in four innings of work.

Jared Patek (0-for-3) drove in Tyler Heyduk (1-for-4) in the first inning on a sacrifice fly for the lone Jets run of the game.
